The 'Walking Street' of Pattaya is truly a bachelor's 'paradise' with a kilometer long street lined with 'Go-go Bars' (strip joints), massage parlors, brothels and more. It is difficult to spot a Thai woman over the age of 25 in the place. One can spend a night with any of them for as little as 1,000 Bahts (approx. 1,250 rupees), maybe less if you are able to work out a deal. The place is frequented by a lot of 'firangs', basically white-skinned foreigners who stay for a fortnight or a month, keep a mistress for the duration, stay in cheap motels, enjoy the sun and sand...
This is in Pattaya, the show is named 'Alcazar' and includes song and dance sequences, medleys and the works, all of them performed by transvestites. Apparently the country has big time business of sex-change operations.
